About the Neighborhood

Located on the southwestern tip of Bainbridge Island, the Crystal Springs and Point White neighborhoods are regarded as an especially friendly, sunny waterfront community. Gaze across the waters to the beautiful sights that include views of the Port Orchard Narrows, Olympic Mountains, and Kitsap Peninsula. On a clear day, you can spot numerous sailboats and eagles or blue herons soaring across the sky and water and the sunsets here are absolute showstoppers. As you enter Crystal Springs drive, a public beach with southern exposure greets you which is a warm welcome on a summer day. Schel Chelb, the 1.6-acre park west of Lynwood Center on Point White Drive offers a children’s playground, 370 feet of saltwater shoreline, a swimming beach, picnic area and trail link to the extensive Gazzam Lake trails network.

Wind along Crystal Springs Drive where the road turns into Point White Drive to take in stunning views of the mountains and saltwater. You'll come upon the Historic former Mosquito fleet and 100-ft long ferry dock, commonly known as Point White Pier with a parking lot conveniently placed across the street. This is an ideal spot for fishing, scuba diving, beach combing or jumping off the pier.

Almost all the homes in this area offer views and all-day sun. The low bank waterfront of Point White has some of the most grand and elegant no bank waterfront homes to be found on Bainbridge Island. Crystal Springs offers primarily cottage style homes, albeit some magnificently remodeled to far more than cottages, but all retain the nostalgic aura of yesteryear when the Munro and Hansen families owned the entire section and built a series of homes for family members. Informal community gatherings and friendly waves are common along this sweep of waterfront.
