If Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty’s 2025 Waterfront Report revealed anything, it’s that the region’s waterfront market is diverse. Offering everything from sprawling lakefront estates on Mercer Island to cozy cabins in Port Angeles, there’s a style for every desired waterfront lifestyle, whether you’re looking for seamless city access or your own private dock. In addition to variety in form and function, the market offers a wide range in another important category: price. 

As the report’s analysis shows, the median sales prices vary across the 16 communities examined. Mercer Island had the highest median sales price at $8,112,000. Port Angeles and Sequim were on the opposite end of the spectrum with a median sales price of $937,000, illustrating that although the waterfront markets boast higher medians than the median of total residential home sales, there is still opportunity.
